I’ve never really thought about the wall leading into the sea between Denville Beach and Humewood Beach till I was standing on it this afternoon. Why is it there? My guess was that it encloses a pipe and once I guessed that I wondered if it isn’t the pipe that was used to pump water from the sea to the old dolphin pool at the Oceanarium.
