There is a number of Wild Fig trees in and around St Georges Park that is over a century old. This one stands between the PE Bowling Club and the Park Drive Bowling Club.

Since its revamp the pier is looking great at night, especially with the new brighter lighting. It's actually so bright that it is possible to swim at night, like the little boy is doing.
Zebras in the city
It's not often that you get the opportunity to see game right in the city. An early morning walk on the Grysbok Trail in the NMMU Nature Reserve gave us the opportunity to see zebra fairly close up and while on foot.
