Lilies and cottages

Lilies growing along Oak Lane in Storms River Village in the Tsitsikamma with some of the old forestry houses (now under the control of SA National Parks) in the background. Beyond the houses is the Tsitsikamma forest and in particular the Plaatbos section.

Fygies between the rocks

Vygies is a type of succulent and most of them are in full flower at the moment. I found this little clump between the rocks in the Tsitsikamma National Park at the Storms River Rest camp.

Biiiiiiig lilies

Knysnakoppe

Die Knysnakoppe by Knysna in die Weskaap is een van Suid Afrika se bekendste natuurlike landmerke en word gereeld in reistydskrifte en brosjures gesien. Die Koppe is ook een van die gevaarlikste ingange tot 'n natuurlike hawe in die wêreld met menige bote wat al hier deur die branders omgeslaan is of op die rotse geloop het.

Bloukransbrug Bungee

Teen 216 meter hoog is die Bloukransrivierbrug op die grens tussen die Ooskaap en Weskaap die hoogste brug in Afrika. Die brug is een van vyf enkelboogbetonbrûe op die N2 tussen Port Elizabeth en Plettenbergbaai en is 415meter lank. Oysters catchers on a rock

The sign on the rocks at the Knysna Heads says "No Diving", "No Swimming" and "No something else I couldn't make out", so the only ones making use of the rock are the Black Oyster Catchers who would just walk along and pull oysters off the rocks. No diving or swimming necessary.
