Romantic walks at Sardinia Bay

Its been a bit of a cold and wet weekend so I thought I'll try and counter that with a warm beach scene of a couple taking a walk along Sardinia Bay.

Water is tempting, but still too cold

Today I'm posting the last of the pictures I took at Sardinia Bay the other day. I just couldn't resist snapping this pic of Chaos Boy standing on the rocks looking at the gully. It looked like he wondering if he should jump in or not.

Sardinia Bay Beach

With the huge moving sand dune now blocking the road, the only acess to Sardinia Bay beach is over the top of said dune. This does lead to a lot of huffing and puffing getting to the top. The view from up there is magnificent though as you look westward along the beach.

Walkway ruins

A couple of years ago there used to be a walkway across the "moving dune" at Sardinia Bay. Today most of the walkway has disappeared below the sand with the rest being removed, probably to be used as firewood.

Getting wet in winter

Today's post is a continuation on yesterday's showing the water pushing between the "foothills" of the sand dunes at Sardinia Bay. No amount of threats could get the Rugrats to stay out the water and yes, Chaos Boy got his pants wet at this moment.
