Port Elizabeth Whale skeleton
The Port Elizabeth Museum, which forms part of the Bayworld complex, has a very unique exhibit hanging in the Marine Hall. It's the skeleton of the last Southern Right Whale to be harpooned in Algoa Bay. Its the focus piece of a exhibit that covers whales and sharks along with everything associated with them.

Today I'm posting pictures of two distict sets of footprints on the beachThe first one is that of Chaos Boy running on the beach at Dana Bay near Mossel Bay...... while the second is that (well, can't really call it a set, more like a trail) of a plough snail
Purple jellyfish
Drama Princess has developed a fascination for jellyfish washed up on the beach. She was even more intrigued when we found this peculiar purple one on the beach in Mossel Bay.
