This is a bit of an unusual view of Shark Rock Pier. I know it's a view a lot of people have seen before, but if you zoom in with the camera over a distance this angle puts Kings Beach and the city centre right behind the pier.

Port Elizabeth Beachfront timelapse over New Year

The timelapse was put together from webcam footage taken between 31 December 2014 and 2 January 2015 and shows the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day activity on Hobie Beach.

On Friday I attended a tourism marketing workshop at the Beach Hotel and afterwards a couple of us went for coffee at The Verandah. I was sitting with my back to the beach but still had a nice reflective view of Shark Rock Pier.
