Nature reserve gully

We took the Kidz and the Worse (our dachshunds) for a walk on the first section of the Sacramento Trail a couple of weekends ago. This little gully is just past the Sacramento monument just as you pass into the nature reserve.

Fresh water between the dunes

Summer is coming and the seasons are changes but its not quite ideal swimming weather yet. The lifeguards are only coming on duty a bit closer to the season so the "No Swimming" signs are still up on Pollok Beach.

Fresh water rock pool

This rock pool along the Sacramento Trail gets fed with fresh water by one of the springs along this piece of coastline at low tide.

Can’t wait for summer

Is it just me or is it starting to get slightly warmer? I know winter isn't over just yet but its good to be able to get up in the morning without immediately grabbing a jacket. Can't wait for those lazy sunny summer days and long walks on the beach over weekends.
