Today’s photo comes from guest photographer Bongi Magongo, who was at a fashion launch in New Brighton recently. So here is a glimpse of township or Location life (old apartheid terminology which has, with tongue in cheek, been corrupted to Loxion…..) more tomorrow. Thanks Bongi!

The photo opportunities in the townships are endless. Some of them very interesting and things you won’t get anywhere else.

Loxion – that’s classic. I also love the spelling of “square” – now where does that pesky U go?? Pleased to see bunny chows are on the menu! Now that’s what I call a proper takeaway menu – none of this poncy health food that they flog off here in the UK π

Sqaure is as old as I can remeber my childhood at Mtimka where my beloveth family still resides- but the name `Sqaurere Dealer` seems new to me Literally I left P.E in the mid 70s. If that`s K.K, then I remember the original owners. Norere was my schoolmate at Phendla. Love you all
