This pic was taken at the Seaview Game and Lion Park just outside Port Elizabeth. It was taken with my old compact digital camera which means that I was really that close… Ok, so there was a fence between us, but it was still close.

nothing nicer than getting up close to animals, here in Germany we can only see them in Zoo’s – but as you know the zoo’s here are amazing.Stunning pic.

Great shot, but be careful, and never taunt animals (which I am sure you weren’t doing). Remember what happened at the San Francisco zoo.

Robert – Was it Shaggy who said: “Wasn’t me!” There were a couple of people next to the fence and she kind of just snarled in general. I’m not sure if the zebra or giraffe on our side of the fence was perhaps close enough for her to notice. Amazing picture opportunity which nobody can pass by.

Hi Firefly, I did not know there was a tiger at the lion and cheetah park. But then the last time I was there was when our kids were still small. I will definitely be making a trip there, with our grandson – I am sure he will enjoy it.
