The Karoo landscapes are beautiful and always give you something new to photograph. Driving back from Gauteng I stopped for a quick break outside Steynsburg and snapped this farm gate with Karoo koppies in the background.
These specific Karoo koppies in question are Koffiebus (Coffee pot) and Teebus (Tee pot).

Guess I know of those shapes as mesa, butte or temple. Very cool shapes.

I have made up my mind that on my next holiday I need to get to the Karoo. There are so many fantastic areas there and I do not have bugs from those areas yet.
