I do love old buildings! I love the way the colours on the tower are so clear and bright! Somehow the sun shining on the roof to the left caught my eye!
As far as I can remember it now houses a private college, together with the old telephone exchange and a building on the opposite corner in Fleming Street.I think it was built in the early 1900s of Paarl granite and Coega stone. The parking area between the old GPO and City Hall used to be known as Fleming Square, but i don't know if anyone still calls it that. On it stands the Prestor John Memorial, as seen in another post.
I really like the richness of the colors in this one. They 'pop' quite nicely to catch the eye. Good photo!
