I had lunch at Wimpy last week, (note Christmas decorations already up, can you believe it?)
With the growth of franchises around the world, it seems that, in many countries, shopping malls have become so similar that, once in them, you could be just about anywhere in the world.

Whimpy around here or Wimpy is a hamburger chain of restaurants. I was surprised to see the shopping mall with that name.

You are so right about shopping malls making it seem like you could be anywhere in the world. And about Christmas decorations, they really have started coming up very early here, even before the Thanksgiving weekend in some places p.s. I don’t think we have a Wimpy’s here in Chicago

yes, that’s what i meant AL, I was having lunch at Wimpy inside the Greenacres Mall. They are quite clever in the way they have re-invented themselves over the years, so that, from being a mostly young person’s greasy hamburger joint in the late 70s when we moved here, they now offer a brilliant selection of healthy salads etc as well. And they are now really targeted at families.
